Terms of Service

1. Acceptance

By using demucs:r ("the Service"), you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

demucs:r is a free, self-hosted audio stem separation tool. You upload an audio file and receive isolated stems (bass, drums, vocals, and other). Processed stems are stored locally and it is your responsibility to download them.

3. Copyright and Acceptable Use

You represent and warrant that you own or have the legal right to use any audio you upload. You must not upload audio that infringes on the copyrights, trademarks, or other intellectual property rights of any third party. demucs:r does not review uploaded content and is not responsible for copyright infringement committed by users. Any misuse is solely your liability.

4. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind. We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that the stem separation output will meet your expectations. Use of the Service is at your own risk.

5. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the authors of demucs:r shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising out of your use of the Service.

6. Changes to Terms

These terms may be updated at any time. Continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

Privacy Policy

1. Information We Collect

demucs:r is self-hosted and collects no personal information. Audio files you upload are processed locally and stored on your own infrastructure.

2. Data Retention

Audio files and processed stems are stored on your local machine or server. No data is sent to any third party.

3. Security

As a self-hosted application, security is your responsibility. We recommend running demucs:r on a trusted network and keeping your Docker images up to date.

4. Open Source

demucs:r is open source software released under the MIT license. The source code is available on GitHub.
